Assistant Inspector of Corps (AIC) – CONPASS 06
This position is open to holders of National Diploma (ND) certificates in related fields. The ND must be obtained from an accredited Polytechnic or Institution.
2. Assistant Cadre: Category B
Corps Assistant I (CA I) – CONPASS 04
Candidates applying for this position must have GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent certificates with at least five credits. These credits must include English and Mathematics, and they must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Corps Assistant III (CA III) – CONPASS 03
Applicants must hold a minimum of five credits in GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE, or NECO, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings. Alternatively, candidates with a Trade Test Grade III certificate in any of the following fields—artisan work, motor driving mechanics, carpentry, or plumbing—are eligible.
3. Drivers/Mechanics/Artisans: Category C
Corps Assistant II (CA II) – CONPASS 04
Candidates must hold a Trade Test Grade II certificate in fields such as motor mechanics and auto electricals.
Corps Assistant III (CA III) – CONPASS 03
Applicants for this position must possess a Trade Test Grade III certificate in related trades. Additionally, a valid National Driver’s License is mandatory for all driver-related roles.
Civil Defence Recruitment Requirements
The CDCFIB has outlined strict requirements for applicants. These include:
- Only Nigerians by birth are eligible to apply.
- All applicants must meet the specific educational requirements for their chosen position. Certificates not presented during the recruitment process will not be accepted later.
- Candidates must provide a Certificate of Medical Fitness from a recognized government hospital.
- Applicants must have no criminal record and must not be associated with secret societies, cults, or drug abuse.
- Candidates must not have been involved in any financial misconduct or embarrassment.
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 years.
- Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1.65 meters, while females must have a minimum height of 1.60 meters.
