NCDMB Recruitment

·

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has officially announced the commencement of its 2024 recruitment exercise. This recruitment drive is part of the Board’s efforts to strengthen its workforce to meet its mandate under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. Interested applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal to apply before the deadline. In a fight against job racketeering that continues to be a concern in the federal sector, the Board has emphasised that recruitment will be merit-based, and there is no room for buying employment slots.

About 2024 NCDMB Recruitment

The NCDMB was established in 2010 under the NOGICD Act to enhance local content in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. The Board’s key objectives include:

  • Promoting institutional collaboration in the industry.
  • Increasing Nigerian participation in oil and gas activities.
  • Integrating oil-producing communities into the oil and gas value chain.

Through its operations, the NCDMB ensures that Nigerians benefit directly from opportunities in the oil and gas industry, especially in terms of employment and capacity building.

The NCDMB is committed to recruiting, training, and retaining highly skilled professionals. The recruitment exercise is aimed at filling vacancies in the following divisions:

  • Executive Secretary’s Office
  • Corporate Services (e.g., Finance, HR, and ICT)
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Planning, Research, and Statistics
  • Legal Services (e.g., Enforcement and Litigation)
  • Capacity Building
  • Project Certification and Authorisation

How to Apply for NCDMB Recruitment 2024

To apply, visit the NOGICJQS portal at www.nogicjqs.gov.ng and follow these steps:

  1. Register on the portal with your details.
  2. Select the division and position of interest.
  3. Complete the application form and upload your CV and passport photograph.

Applicants must ensure their information is accurate and updated to avoid disqualification.

The NCDMB uses the NOGICJQS portal to select participants for industry-related training. Registered users are advised to log in regularly to update their profiles and stay informed about training opportunities in the oil and gas sector.

Training selections are made based on pre-qualifications and the availability of programmes. For example, marine sector training is open only to those with relevant qualifications in marine-related courses.

Please take note that each applicant must submit only one application to avoid automatic disqualification. Some applicants, in a bid to make corrections, create new profiles. The Board is against this as it results in multiple applications that gives some applicants unfair advantage. The application process is FREE. Do not pay anyone for assistance, as this could lead to disqualification and prosecution.

This is an online-only application process. Paper applications will not be accepted.

Application Deadline

The recruitment portal will remain open for four weeks from the date of this announcement. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further screening and interviews.

Applicants are encouraged to act promptly and carefully follow the instructions to avoid errors that could affect their chances of being considered. Only visit the official portal to start your application today. Applications submitted out of the portal are not eligible.
