NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE AUTHORITY (NHIA)
The National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, has inaugurated BHCPF Committee to drive the entire process. The Executive Secretary, Professor Mohammed Nasir Sambo, is the chairman while GM ISD is the Secretary of the committee.
Below are the Terms of Reference:
- To ensure adaptation of the new 2020 BHCPF guidelines by NHIA
- To design strategies for dissemination of information on the content of the new guideline (Target audience: NHIA, SSHIA, Providers, HMOs, Enrollees etc.)
- To define roles and responsibilities of each of the stakeholders involved in the implementation of NHIA gateway of the BHCPF
- To define modus operandi for BHCPF operation with respect to NHIA.
- Develop a framework for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- To advice management on the most efficient and cost-effective way of implementing BHCPF.
- To provide timeline for BHCPF implementation Committee and all recommended activities
- To perform any other function that will help in the operationalization of the 2020 BHCPF guideline.
